ABOUT US

The Beaudesert RSL Sub Branch opened its offices in Jane Street in 1919, and when the new council chambers were built in 1958 they moved there. In 1979 the Sub Branch purchased the existing site which was once the town’s Post Office. 

Our club was founded as a meeting place for returned service personal in the Beaudesert Shire. As well as a venue to commemorate war service it also preserves the spirit of the camaraderie of men and women who served or are serving in the defence of Australia. 

Since redevelopment began in 1998 the club has undergone many changes but has kept its country charm. Members and their guests are greeted inside the club with modern facilities and friendly staff.

Our Bistro Thr3e restaurant can cater for 180 people plus our outdoor Alfresco area is great for those who prefer to eat outside. We also have a small deck at the front of the club where guests with small dogs are welcome. 

Other facilities include our Coffee Lounge, 55 of the latest gaming machines, 2 bars, function facilities, live entertainment, kids room, a complimentary courtesy bus for members and their guests, Keno, TAB, a bottle shop, and ample on-site and street parking.

HEAD CHEF

About the role

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Head Chef to join our team at The Club Beaudesert, a leading hospitality venue in Beaudesert, QLD. As the Head Chef, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing all culinary operations and ensuring the delivery of exceptional dining experiences for our members and guests. This is a full-time position based in our Beaudesert location.

What you’ll be doing

  1. Manage the daily operations of the kitchen, including rostering, menu planning, stock control, and budgeting

  2. Lead and mentor a team of talented chefs, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment

  3. Develop and implement innovative, high-quality menu items that showcase your culinary expertise

  4. Ensure strict adherence to food safety and hygiene standards

  5. Collaborate with the management team to align the culinary offering with the club’s strategic objectives

  6. Monitor and continuously improve kitchen efficiency and productivity

What we’re looking for

  1. Minimum 2 years of experience as a Head Chef

  2. Proven track record of successfully managing a kitchen team and operations in a high-volume, fast-paced environment

  3. Exceptional culinary skills and a deep understanding of food trends and preparation techniques

  4. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service

  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively lead and inspire your team

  6. Thorough knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations

Community, Sporting & Academic Sponsorships

 

We are excited to announce that the Community & Sporting Sponsorship Program is open for applications. All applicants will be notified by email of the donation committee’s decision, with successful applicants being required to attend a presentation ceremony.

The Program is designed to provide financial assistance to local community organisations who, without this support, would find it difficult to achieve their organisational goals. Sponsorship grants are available up to $2000.
